Datacenter / Monitoring Proxies

What it is

Datacenter proxies are hosted on commercial server infrastructure, not residential devices or ISP circuits. Low trust signal for checkout on drop targets, but that's not what this tier is for. Datacenter is the monitoring tier: cheap, fast, and with unlimited bandwidth for long-duration watching. Use it to watch for inventory, trigger alerts, and monitor public endpoints. Switch to residential or ISP when it's time to act.

Monitor cheap. Check out premium.

Residential proxies bill per-GB; every gigabyte spent polling for restock inventory is a gigabyte unavailable at checkout when a drop actually happens. ISP proxies have unlimited bandwidth but cost more per IP than datacenter.

Datacenter is the cheapest way to run continuous monitoring without burning your residential or ISP allocation. Watch with datacenter; buy with residential or ISP. That separation keeps your premium proxy budget where it matters.

Best for

  • Restock monitoring: polling inventory endpoints, product page watchers, alert systems
  • Public API scraping: price tracking, catalog monitoring, search result collection
  • Low-stakes automation where datacenter ranges are not blocked
  • High-volume tasks where residential cost per-GB would be prohibitive

Not the right tool for

  • Checkout on drop targets: datacenter ranges are blocked or flagged on Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and Pokemon Center
  • Queue-hold on Walmart: the queue validates IP type; datacenter fails here
  • Any task where IP trust signal is evaluated at the detection layer

Datacenter tier

Datacenter proxy plans are in preparation. Pricing will reflect the monitoring use case: per-IP monthly, unlimited bandwidth, lower price point than ISP.
